Montecristoff's Tweaks!

im using v 0.5.3 and enabled geophoto. i did do a soft reboot.

when i go to take a photo, i select gpsphoto ,it initiates gps, then i take a picture, but it does not write to the exif; it does not add the gps data.

any thoughts?

It does, only if your GPS is enabled and active.

You must use some third app to see these exif data.

You could try Exif Pilot Lite (freeware), but many Exif data editors can do the job.

Also if you upload your GPS photos on Picacaweb, it can automatically do the geolocalization on GoogleMaps

Was this resolved ? How do you conferm GPS activation? I to down loaded , installed, turned on Geophoto, It went through initiateing GPS, took a photo. Uploaded it to picacaweb. Only to have it say I was in china somewhere.Then when I clicked on the more details button it said n/a next to LON & LAT. any thoughts?
